Australian Mutual Bank staff volunteer at the Barnardos Australia 2022 Summer Peter Pan Op Shop Fundraiser
Helping to support those in need, staff from Australian Mutual Bank volunteered at the Peter Pan Op Shop fundraiser held at Club Rose Bay which aimed to raise funds to support the work of Barnardos Australia.
The Peter Pan Op Shop fundraiser is run by the Peter Pan Committee, a fundraising auxiliary of Barnardos Australia, and it dates all the way back to World War II when clothes rationing was introduced. Since then, the second-hand clothing sale has been held bi-annually to raise vital funds to support the work of Barnardos Australia. Due to its ongoing success, the Peter Pan Op Shop has become an event to mark on the calendar, with many high profile designers supporting the charity fundraiser. While the aim of the fundraiser is to help provide support to Barnardos Australia, the event also provides a wonderful opportunity for those in the Mutual sector to get together, have some fun, and enjoy a wonderful day of giving back to the community.

Staff from Australian Mutual Bank rolled up their sleeves to help with set up and ensure that the Op Shop would be ready in time for the eager fashionistas that awaited when doors opened.
Australian Mutual Bank, through the work of the Australian Mutuals Foundation, is committed to social responsibility and provides volunteering opportunities like the Peter Pan Op Shop to participate in.
