Last week, Fiona, the Board Chair of Australian Mutual Bank, demonstrated the true spirit of the holiday season by dedicating her time to a heartwarming cause. Volunteering with Barnardos Australia in Orange, NSW, Fiona participated in a Christmas present wrapping session. The presents that were carefully wrapped are intended for the vulnerable children in the local Barnardos program.
"It was a good feeling to be able to help Barnardos by wrapping gifts for children in the Orange community. The generosity of the community was evident by the number of quality gifts that Barnardos had received for donation to the children of struggling families. One of the Barnardos staff told me about the planning that goes into supporting families especially at this time of year. I was glad that I could do something small to help in my community." said Fiona.
